Why this matters

AEEI’s research exposes how money entrusted to faith communities, charities and ethical investors ends up financing fossil fuels, armaments and conflict, and shows that there are better ways. Research only changes things when it reaches the people who can act on it: meetings, trustees, activists and anyone who cares where their money goes. As our Online Presence Associate, you’ll help make sure our work is read and shared.

You will:

• Help run AEEI’s online presence and grow it on sites like Facebook, Instagram or newer, independent platforms

• Help prepare and send our newsletter (we use MailerLite)

• Turn our research and articles into short posts, summaries and updates for a wider audience

• Help us grow and engage with our community of readers and supporters

We’re looking for:

• Interest in ethical economy reform and Quaker values

• Enjoyment of writing clearly and simply for a general audience

• Experience with social media, newsletters or digital communications is welcome, but not required

• Ability to work independently, at a self-directed pace, with a remote team
